Is This Normal?
The chaos that is the Kerbers03–March 2009
Sunday, March 1
It’s time for the Christmas cards to come down. I always dread this day because I love being surrounded by the pictures of all of our family and friends.
Monday, March 2
Sick day today…home with Ben fighting a high fever. It’s an awful feeling when you can’t make your kids feel better.
Tuesday, March 3
Our crazy little girl loves to spin…and the coffee tables are one of the best spinning spots around. Even spanks can’t stop spinning fever!
Wednesday, March 4
We took the “gates” off of Ben’s bed, and he was proud that we put them in the closet for Ems to use when she gets her big-girl bed.
Thursday, March 5
Sweet little Mommy Emma. She takes care such good care of her babies and showers them with kisses all day.
Friday, March 6
We had a spring teaser day with 68° and sunshine, so the kids got to play outside after school with our friend Maxon.
Saturday, March 7
Emma really liked modeling her new swim suit and posing for the camera. We’re getting excited for our Spring Break trip to Florida.
Sunday, March 8
Again I’m getting a glimpse into the future when the kids will play together and entertain themselves. I can’t wait!
Monday, March 9
Emma is so good at putting puzzles together. She climbs up and has one done before anyone can even think of helping her!
Tuesday, March 10
Mommy does love to color, and now that we can all do it together, it’s even more fun!
Wednesday, March 11
Play-Doh is a new obsession for Emma. Now if we can only keep it out of her mouth…
Thursday, March 12
Mmm…lasagna. It’s silly, I know, but I was so proud of this dinner. It was picture perfect, and yummy, too!
Friday, March 13
This gives “Good to the last drop” a new look. When Emma likes something, she’s going to clean her plate. Literally.
Saturday, March 14
More trip preperation as Dave and I went shopping for trinkets and toys to entertain the kids during the long drive.
Sunday, March 15
Vehicles of choice. Every time we go outside, Ben goes for his Spiderman bike and Emma goes for the wheelbarrow.
Monday, March 16
Our first family walk of the season. Emma even got to get out of the stroller for the last part and walk with Daddy.
Tuesday, March 17
It was a beautiful St. Patrick’s Day, and after dinner we got the swings out from winter storage.
Wednesday, March 18
Emma’s first manicure. She was so excited by her “pretties”. She wants to be just like Mommy.
Thursday, March 19
Ugh…it’s by far the worst part of any trip preparation…packing!
Friday, March 20
We’re all excited to get going, but we have to get through the last day of work and daycare first.
Saturday, March 21
We made it to Florida….Yay!!! Let the vacation begin…
Sunday, March 22
We were able to watch Lauren play softball at a tournament in Bartow, FL. It wasn’t fun to drive again so soon, but it was great seeing everyone!
Monday, March 23
Not true Florida weather today, but Grandma could still pitch a few to Ben outside, which was awesome.
Tuesday, March 24
A night out for Mommy and Daddy…at Sharky’s on the beach. The hour wait for a table flew by!
Wednesday, March 25
Grandpa and the kids walking out to the beach…one of my favorite pictures from the trip.
Thursday, March 26
We all had so much fun playing and digging a giant hole at the beach with the Laurvick kids.
Friday, March 27
Our last day in Florida, but we did get to spend it with the Atherton girls. Wish we could see them more often.
Saturday, March 28
We got home safe and sound, and some new Batmans came home with us. Gotta love Grandma!
Sunday, March 29
Ben’s camera needed new batteries, so he and Daddy were on the job.
Monday, March 30
Oh boy, we finally let her have a lollipop. It was gone in about a minute…crunch, crunch, crunch!
Tuesday, March 31
Sometimes you just get the perfect light at the perfect moment, and the result is a pictures like this
