Is This Normal?
The chaos that is the Kerbers04–April 2009
Wednesday, April 1
Firefighter Ben to the rescue! He’s been all about dressing up lately, although the process usually takes longer than the playtime.
Thursday, April 2
Ben had Emma hysterical giving her belly blows. I love watching them have fun, but somehow it always ends badly.
Friday, April 3
We were playing outside and a bunny running through our yard stopped in front of Ben. The two of them had a staredown for a short time.
Saturday, April 4
A classic shot of Emma at breakfast this morning. She had oatmeal all over her face, and was chattering a mile a minute.
Sunday, April 5
Palm Sunday. Ben and I colored Easter eggs this afternoon…and we can’t wait for Easter!
Monday, April 6
Snow again? What is going on with this weather? The kids were excited, but Mommy was NOT happy about this turn of events.
Tuesday, April 7
Both kids got Easter cards in the mail from Grandma & Grandpa Kerber and Theresa, and some of them played music!
Wednesday, April 8
Ben had his Easter egg hunt at preschool. He had such a good time and was very excited about the candy he got.
Thursday, April 9
Emma thinks she’s big stuff when she can pull Ben in the wagon. Daddy still has to help a little, though.
Friday, April 10
The kids and I made Easter egg cut-out cookies together. My patience was tested, but we had a lot of fun.
Saturday, April 11
We all went to the Easter egg hunt at Danielle’s church. What a great time we had!
Sunday, April 12
Happy Easter! My little man and little lady all dressed up in their church clothes at the farm for our own egg hunt.
Monday, April 13
One of the joys of Easter…candy! Emma loved her chocolate bunny, but it sure was messy!
Tuesday, April 14
Emma found Mickey in her basket Easter morning, and he has barely left her side since.
Wednesday, April 15
This may be my new favorite picture of Emma. It’s post bath/before jammies, and it warms my heart.
Thursday, April 16
He does rule. This is my favorite of Ben’s shirts. Let’s hope the long sleeves get packed away soon!
Friday, April 17
Daddy mowed for the first time of the season, so Ben had to help him with the weed whacking.
Saturday, April 18
Emma loved golfing at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, even if the clubs were just a little bit too long.
Sunday, April 19
We had what may be the last double birthday party for Brett & Ryan. 10 and 18…both of them growing up too fast!
Monday, April 20
I absolutely love the days when after school/before dinner time is calm and peaceful, like today.
Tuesday, April 21
I’m not sure what prompted Ben to clip the phone on his ear, but it cracked me up. It’s like an old school bluetooth.
Wednesday, April 22
Emma has finally figured out how to go down the driveway slowly, so she can get her own bikes out of the garage.
Thursday, April 23
Emma gets so excited for her “Wowwipop” after dinner that she sometimes skips the dinner part! Guess we’ll be working on that one!
Friday, April 24
I have never seen Ben eat so willingly and so much in my life! Two pieces of pizza gone in no time!
Saturday, April 25
Emma’s first haircut was such a non-event to her, that it seemed to be almost boring! Not really…she did a great job.
Sunday, April 26
Jaiden & Lexi Ory and Charlie Madzinski (and their moms) came to our house to play today. We had so much fun!
Monday, April 27
They happened to see their Rudolph & Clarice toys in the storage room, and were obsessed with them today. Christmas in April, anyone?
Tuesday, April 28
Again, as we’ve seen over and over, Emma covered her head up with Silky while sleeping. She’s done this since she was a baby.
Wednesday, April 29
Emma is proving that she’s ready for a booster…climbing up in Ben’s chair nightly this week.
Thursday, April 30
Before leaving for Danielle’s this morning, Emma was in a particularly loving mood and was comforting a sad Ben.
