Since I have two sister-in-laws named Mary Kerber, Ben and Emma subsequently have two Aunt Marys.  To ease the confusion, one of them decided that she could just be called Auntie M.  Well, today is Auntie M’s birthday, and we all hope that it’s a wonderful one for her.  I know that often birthdays with a one at the end of them (I won’t mention the first number, Mary) get ignored like they’re no big deal.  But I think every birthday should be a big deal.  And this year, Mary’s finally getting her kitchen redone…a project that has apparently been on the horizon for many, many years.  It’s going to be beautiful, and no one deserves it more.  If her baking is going to get better since her kitchen is all new, we are all in for a real treat, because she is one of the best bakers I know!
